地球人可以鬆口氣了，美國聯邦調查局(FBI)表示，經調查希拉蕊?柯林頓（Hillary Clinton）的新電子郵件後，維持不起訴希拉蕊的決定，等於是移除了阻礙希拉蕊勝選的一塊絆腳石。
根據美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）報導，FBI局長柯米（James Comey）6日在給聯邦眾議院監督委員會（House Oversight Committee）的信中表示：「FBI調查團隊日以繼夜處理並調查大量電郵。根據我們的檢視，我們沒有改變我們在7月時表達的結論。」
對於FBI維持不起訴的決定，希拉蕊競選公關主任巴梅瑞（Jennifer Palmieri）表示歡迎。
這場被譽為美國史上最醜陋的選舉，選戰打來，希拉蕊一直在電郵門事件與健康問題飽受對手川普陣營質疑，FBI局長柯米在10月28日丟出震撼彈，表示將重啟電郵調查，引發民主黨撻伐與歐巴馬總統質疑試圖影響選舉。但是11月6日FBI又再度致函國會，表示FBI並沒有改變7月時的調查結果，這等於移除阻礙希拉蕊勝選的一塊絆腳石。
